Great device, also for mac
I'm on a M1 mac, and I mainly use this thing for my own convenience, but occasionally also for streaming or recording purposes.
It makes it so easy to adjust volume of a zoom call independently of background music, or to mute my usb mic using a physical button, or to route audio from specific apps to a stream/zoom call, or to switch between desktop speakers and headphones using a physical button. And it even lets me adjust volume of an external monitor that doesn't allow that feature natively. This device is simply great!

Two small down-sides:
1) When the Mix Create is connected, it constantly activates the microphone indicator on the mac and it has a tendency to keep the computer awake. But unplugging it as I put the mac to sleep works just fine. This is why I can't give it five stars at this point.
2) I've experienced once that the BEACN-app for mac suddenly started using huge amounts of CPU, and I had to unplug the device and restart the BEACN-app along with all apps that it was routing audio for. But that fixed it, and I otherwise haven't had any problems with it, even under heavy CPU load (playing games, streaming and screen recording at the same time).

Two small things that would make this device even greater for mac (I would give it six stars for these additions):
1) The ability to apply filters/effects on specific channels. Specifically, I would love to be able to apply a compressor to the chat-channel, so that incoming audio was normalized (when my co-workers can't adjust their microphone levels properly on a zoom call).
2) A "minimize to tray"-option on mac, so that the BEACN-app icon doesn't have to be running on my dock at all times.

I rarely leave reviews
Kicking the door open: BEACN is unreal, dude. The BEACN mix is exactly everything I needed in a product. I rarely say stuff like this because I don't like to water-down the praise I give products, so trust me when I say it's good. Or don't, up to you, but I have recommended it to everyone and haven't stopped talking about it on my stream. I have a dual-PC setup and it really is as easy to set up as their videos say. You watch the video, you plug, you play. For me, it's a 10/10 without question.

The app is as easy to understand as it gets. There are a couple of options I haven't really tested yet, so I can't say it's flawless there, but I use what I need and it works exactly as I need it to.

Small things that would be QOL changes would be:
1. The toggles to switch in between settings could be "click to change" rather than "click and drag down/up to change." SMALL change (not even an issue)
2. Display on BEACN mix is low quality, but that's just me being picky and loving sharpness of monitors. The screen is a solid size though!
3. Having some type of control over the sample rate and/or buffer settings would be cool too, but I don't know if that's possible. And that's only because Voicemod sometimes doesn't mesh well with BEACN, but that could be fixed over time. For now, I changed some audio settings on my end and it works flawlessly.

That's it. Literally nothing else. And that was IF I needed to add something to make the review be more credible. Anyway, buy a BEACN product. It's worth it through and through.

Good enough for what I wanted
It does what I want now, it just took a bit of messing around. The things that caused me issues or headaches aren't the fault of the Beacn, but the way Windows talks to programs, and how some programs were coded.

For example: I use Shadowplay to take clips of gameplay. Shadowplay only takes the audio of the line it's container is on, so it took me a while to figure out I needed to put the NVCONTAINER executable into the line with game audio. Not Beacn's fault, it's not their software. I post this here in the event someone has the same problem I did, since googling didn't really provide me with a clear answer.

The software was pretty straight forward. You see app, you put app on knob you want, you spin nob for loud or quiet. Getting different mixes down was pretty easy, and getting it to do what I wanted wasn't difficult!

Everything else I've wanted to do has worked out great. Everything you want to do is as easy as it can be, the rest is up to you!

Amazing but I wish it did a LITTLE more
As a streamer who cares a lot about my audio quality, the BEACN Mix Create has made it way easier for me to adjust my settings on the fly, especially when I have guests and do interviews or collaborations. It was straightforward to initially set up, looks great on my desk, and pressing the buttons and knobs and seeing the volume change on the mini screen is so satisfying.

However I do wish it had one more additional output channel -- I record my streams to edit into shorts or other content afterwards, and I've found that having my mic, my Discord call, my music, and my gameplay sounds all on separate tracks helps immensely during the editing process. With the current limitations, I can only route my music, Discord, and gameplay sounds through the Mix Create, and must supplement with OBS and Voicemeeter. This means that my mic can't actually be used or controlled with BEACN. I hope this will be fixed in a future update, but otherwise if you're a streamer who's also constantly fiddling with their sound settings, getting this is worth it!
